Mental Health Today
Why seek within yourself?
Your mental health today is not a consequence of what happened this morning or last night, that's mood dear reader. It is determined by so much more: genetics, environment, childhood experiences, core memories, relationships with others, and self. That's not all though!
I have 5 years of experience in counseling and I have seen clients stuck at what happened when they were 9 which created their schema i.e. their perspective on life based on what they witnessed or endured at that time. You see, everything is connected and sometimes nothing is. It could be a plain neuro-chemical imbalance, I, however, recommend that take medication or any form of drug assistance as your last resort.
Lifestyle changes improved eating patterns and self/social awareness are the key to your well-being. I agree, it's time taking, not as appealing to work on it while you're struggling already; I feel you. But what you see as tangled information begins to make sense when you are willing to achieve that freedom of self.
It won't take a session or a day, it took years to get distorted, give yourself some time to walk on this journey to connect with yourself again. You need you, more than you need "the other".

Yes the past events and environment greatly affect your mental health. However, the solution could be quick to remove the past traumas. All you need to do is change the meaning of the event in the subconscious mind of a person because we attach meaning or a story to whatever happens to us, and the meaning that we attach determine our feelings and these emotions make us or break us. Therefore, when you change the meaning in the subconscious of a person or completely distort that memory, the feelings of that person related to that specific event would be changed and it will not make him or her stressful anymore. There are specific techniques to do this and it has changed people lives within minutes.
